Players take turns to study combinations of emojis that represent common words and phrases like “Fish out of water” 🐠 ⬆️ 🌊 and “Monkey business” 🐵 👔 💼.
The aim is to work out the meaning behind the images and say the word or phrase to win the point. It’s just like cracking the enigma code. Only it could be a lot harder, or way easier, depending on how well you know emojis.
Another curveball is that we all interpret emoticons differently. So get ready to laugh at your friend, sister, brother, grandma or even yourself when the ridiculous guesses ensue.
