The pottery wheel is specially designed for beginners, with innovative features that help make shaping clay easy and fun. The detachable tool arm supports three revolutionary, swappable tools that help with centering, opening, and shaping the clay. It also features clockwise and counterclockwise rotation, which makes the wheel perfect for left- and right-handed potters. Adjustable speed settings give kids added control as they shape the clay. The pottery wheel plugs into any standard wall outlet using the included AC power adapter, so there’s no need for batteries!
This kit also contains three pounds of air-dry clay, a sponge, a cut-off tool, three sculpting tools, an apron, six paint colors, a paint brush, and three types of gemstone chips kids can use to decorate their pieces!
The detailed instruction booklet contains a link to video instructions too, so kids can see the pottery wheel in action before they start. Kids will also learn about the science of clay and importance of pottery to several ancient cultures in the learning guide.
